Academy Award winner Henry Fonda stars with Glenn Ford in this comic Western about two aging horse-wranglers who dream of leaving cold New Mexican winters for a tropical island. Their dreams remain just that as they can't keep themselves from spending their pay on whiskey and women... until they find a free-spirited horse with a taste for alcohol and enter the wild, hiccupping nag in a bucking contest, betting that no one can ride her. But the drunkard horse turns out to be more than even the two cowboys can handle and leads them from one comic adventure to another.
