When Emily, an ex-city lawyer turned struggling small town baker, receives a handmade Christmas Calendar from a secret admirer, the local residents become obsessed with finding out the identity of the sender. As Emily juggles finances, relationships and a big chain store aiming to put her out of business, the calendar proves to be a Christmas miracle for both Emily and the town.
