Paramveer Singh (Sunny Deol) is Non-resident Indian who lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with his mother, wife and two children. One day a stranger visits him and is baffled after seeing a photograph of Paramveer's father, Dharam (Dharmendra). The stranger recognises Dharam as a thief, who had robbed him during his Banaras visit. Shocked, Paramveer's mother decides to send him to find his father Dharam, and younger brother Gajodhar (Bobby Deol). After reaching India, Paramveer discovers that Dharam and Gajodhar are an infamous father-son con team that robs people of their money. Despite that, Paramveer visits Dharam and claims to be his long-lost son but Dharam refuses to believe him. However, Dharam is impressed by Paramveer's strength and asks him to join his team. Soon Gajodhar falls in love with a girl named Saheba (Khulraj Randhawa), but her brothers don't approve of their relationship. Paramveer sees this as an opportunity to bring his family together and decides to help Gajodhar.
